View inside the trommel - large rocks and mud pass through and are washed into the tailings bin. The trommel helps break up the wash further as it rotates slowly. Any material that passes through the 20mm screen (seen top left) then moves over the pulsators. Material too large to fit through the 20mm screen goes to the tailings bin. |
