Covington 18" Slab Saw, 700 series

Covington's Slab Saws (700 series) are heavy duty floor models designed to cut glass and stones with a power feed system.

This slab saw is fitted with an 18" blade and 9" vise.

This is an immersion style saw meaning the cutting fluid sits inside the tank and the spinning blade will bring the cutting fluid up and around to the piece. Covington powder coats the saw tank, hood and chassis for durability and longevity. An x-pattern strengthening rib ensures that the tank unit is square and the hood sits properly. The hood fits neatly inside the tank eliminating leaks. The hood can be propped open with a sturdy, steel prop arm for easy loading and unloading of pieces.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT FREIGHT:

This saw ships in a large and very heavy wooden crate with dimensions 120 W x 100 D x 135 H cm.  We normally arrange for this saw be held at the delivery depot for pick up so they can load with a forklift - a ute or trailer will be required.
